*A lot of folks, outside of the black LGBTQ community, are not even aware of that community’s penchant for referring to black women as “fish” for years.
Well, that was then. These days some folks are speaking out against the practice because they find it to be nasty and disrespectful, among other things.
Some think that calling women fish is very much “speaking under a woman’s clothes.” In short, the tide has changed and folks who have a problem with the lingo being used by the black LGBTQ community are speaking out.
However, trans celeb Ts Madison ain’t feelin’ the anti-fish sentiment and his clapping back with a video called “Lets have some Fish Talk” to express her point of view on the issue (and defend the practice).
