*Shaquille O’Neal has teamed with JC Penney and Wilhelmina International, Inc. on a model search for his clothing line, Shaquille O’Neal XLG.
The nationwide hunt seeks big and tall men who can’t always find their sizes in the big-brand stores.
“When I launched the Shaquille O’Neal XLG collection exclusively at JC Penney, it was a challenge to find big and tall guys to model for the campaign, so we asked our friends at Wilhelmina to hit the streets to find a few good men who are larger than life,” said O’Neal in a statement. “Through this exciting partnership with Wilhelmina and JC Penney, we’re hosting the biggest and tallest model search around to help big, sexy guys like me finally get the recognition they deserve.”
According to 11Alive.com, the nationwide search includes online submissions and live casting calls in Atlanta, where Shaq will make an appearance on April 11 at the South Point Shopping Center’s JCPenney in McDonough from 5 – 8 p.m. ET.
