*Peter Thomas, ex-husband of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey, is speaking out on how he really feels about his time on the hit Bravo series.
We previously reported… Peter’s famed Sports One Bar and Lounge in Charlotte, North Carolina is closed… for now, as the entrepreneur reportedly owes $237,000 in unpaid taxes, according to federal public records, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.
Peter decided to close Sports One for three to six months while he and the bar’s legal team resolve the issue, according to TMZ.
“Hard work never stop over here, got to get these people their money,” Thomas commented on TMZ’s report about his unpaid taxes in an Instagram post on September 24. “The shuffle hustle is real.”

Meanwhile, Peter recently addressed his time on RHOA, saying:
“This housewife shit wasn’t easy, everyday was challenging because you never know how one minute while you’re taping can make the world look at you when they see it, it was NEVER in the best interest of Bravo to show men in a positive light, look at these people reality, I am glad that I landed on my feet after all that was given. Play the game, don’t let the game play you,” he said, according to thejasminebrand.com. “However, one may argue that “Real Housewives of Atlanta” provided the platform for Peter Thomas’ Bar One franchise to be as popular as it is. He was even rumored to be snagging a spin-off at one point.”
Peter is also the owner of Club One in Charlotte, as well as Bar One in Miami.
Earlier this year, he was arrested in Miami on a fugitive warrant from Louisiana where he was accused of writing fraudulent checks. He then spent six days in prison.
