*Music mogul L.A. Reid has listed his lavish modern mansion on the Westside of Los Angeles for sale at $22.9 million.

Built in 2015, he purchased the property for $17.99 million three years ago, according to the Los Angeles Times. The multilevel house boasts seven bedrooms, seven full and three half bathrooms, a half-moon-shaped infinity-edge swimming pool, a spa and an outdoor kitchen/bar.

According to listings held by Jesse Lally and Michelle S. Lally at Hilton & Hyland, “significant improvements” were made to create “family-oriented” home that measures in at more than 11,200 square feet.

A floating staircase sits near the entry. The open and vaulted great room features a floating black granite fireplace that divides the space. Red velvet walls, carpeting and draperies create visual interest in the living room/den, which has a wet bar. There’s also a 300-bottle wine cellar.

The master suite features a fireplace and a balcony overlooking the grounds. In all, there are seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms in about 11,250 square feet of space.

According to Variety, the home also includes:

Five guest and family bedrooms, including the master suite, are located upstairs, while two more tucked away on the lower level are, listing descriptions suggest, well suited to live-in domestic staff, a fitness room, a home office and/or a recording studio. Other luxuries of note include an elevator, a climate-controlled wine cellar and a semi-subterranean garage parking for up to four cars.

Reid is considered a legend in the music industry, having made hits for artists such as Usher, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Outkast and Sean “Puffy” Combs… to name a few. He co-founded LaFace Records in the late ’80s and later headed up Def Jam Music Group before becoming chairman of Epic Records.

He exited the company in 2017 following accusations of harassment by a female employee.
