*Colin Kaepernick has completed his $1 million pledge to assist oppressed communities throughout the country, thanks to one last $10,000 donation from Usher Raymond.

The singer follows such celebs as Chris Brown, Serena Williams, Meek Mill and Steph Curry in contributing to Kaep’s 10-day challenge to raise the final $100,000 of his million dollar pledge. Usher’s $10K went to the H.O.M.E. (Helping Oppressed Mothers Endure) charity in Lithonia, Georgia.

“Day 10 of my #10for10! Thank you @usher for choosing H.O.M.E. for the #MillionDollarPledge,” the quarerback tweeted Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 31). “We’re donating $10k each to them for a total of $20k! It’s been an honor to work for the people and donate $1 mil to orgs fighting for social justice! See it all on https://kaepernick7.com.”

“This was an opportunity to do something major, and you did it,” Usher said in a video posted to Kaepernick’s Twitter account on Wednesday. “You have raised $1 million. I’m happy to be a part of the completion of that $1 million. Everyone that has done something around this is amazing. This is a collaborative effort. As a result of us helping each other, we all become stronger.”

Earlier this month, Kaepernick kicked off his #10for10 campaign to help finish the remaining $100,000 left in his million dollar pledge.
