Killer Cop Amber Guyger Blames Botham Jean for Getting Shot & Killed Inside His Home

*Dallas police officer Amber Guyger who killed her neighbor Botham Jean a week ago may soon find it challenging to keep up with her messy story and ever-changing lies.

At first, she said Botham’s door was locked and she repeatedly tried to get in until he opened the door. Then she said his door was shut but unlocked. Now she says his door was never shut and she gave Jean commands that he didn’t listen, The Associated Press reported.

“David Armstrong of the Texas Rangers wrote in an arrest affidavit released Monday that Officer Amber Guyger said it was nearly completely dark inside the apartment when she entered it Thursday night and she thought she was encountering a burglar in her home,” the AP wrote. “He says Guyger said the person ignored her verbal commands and she fired twice. One struck Jean in the chest and he later died.”

But as Twitter user David French noted: “The moment Amber Guyger opened the door to an apartment that wasn’t her own, she wasn’t operating as a police officer clothed with the authority of the law. She was an armed home invader. Her victim didn’t have to obey a single one of her commands.”

Do you agree?

Basically, Guyger is pointing the finger at the dead man for ignoring her “verbal commands.”

She was arrested and charged with manslaughter on Sunday, more than two days after she killed Jean. After a few hours in custody, she was released on a bond of $300,000.

See her mugshot below:

Original reports claimed Jean’s door was locked, “When she arrived home, she took the elevator to a floor that was not hers. She then went to what she thought was her door, put the key in and struggled with the lock.”

However, days later reports from Guyger claimed the door was “slightly ajar,” which Jean’s parents said was impossible. A resident of the same building filmed a video supporting this.

The Dallas Morning News reports that a grand jury will ultimately decide whether Guyger should be charged with murder or manslaughter — or nothing at all — for killing Jean in his own apartment.
