*Kevin Hart is one of 2018’s highest-paid celebrities in America, raking in $57 million, according to Forbes. But it wasn’t always a champagne and caviar lifestyle for the comedian.
As reported by cnbc.com, Hart lived in a “little apartment that we had when I was growing up,” he tells CNBC Make It in September, while sitting in a 268-square-foot tiny house he curated in the middle of Manhattan in Herald Square in partnership with Booking.com. “This is honestly probably along the same size,” he said.Â
“I spend a lot of my time traveling across the world for work and often get tired of staying in hotels day in and day out,” he said about curating for the booking site.

“We didn’t have a lot of space, and it definitely wasn’t this clever,” Hart says referring to the amenities that he included in the tiny house (like Amazon Alexa and Diptyque candles) but “it brings back memories.”
Hart was raised by a poor single mother in Philadelphia and Rolling Stone previously reported that he slept in a bunk bed in the hallway of the one-bedroom apartment that he shared with his mom and older brother.
“We had a hallway, and there was my mom’s side and there was me and my brother’s side,” he said.
He faced a number of hardships and hurdles at the beginning of his career, but Kevin never gave up and eventually skyrocketed to success.
His earnings for 2018…$57 million, making him one of the highest paid celebrities in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, Hart’s tiny house will have its permanent location in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, in Tiny Estates, the world’s largest community of tiny homes. Travelers can book a stay in his tiny home for $175 (in Elizabethtown) on Booking.com.
