Trump Support Plummeting: GOP Pressuring Him to Step Down

donald trump

*Good Lord! The pressure is on GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump to LEAVE the presidential race NOW. But what’s remarkable is that the pressure is coming from … the Republican party!

It’s all happening in the wake of the Washington Post’s release of a bombshell video on Friday in which Trump makes lewd comments about women.

According to The Huffington Post, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (Utah) was the first GOP member of Congress to peel off Friday night, declaring on a local TV station, “I’m out.”

Chaffetz claims that as of now, he doesn’t know who he is going to vote for now, but it won’t be Trump or Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.  Meanwhile, Utah Governor, Gary Herbert (R), said he’s also dropping his support for Trump after seeing the tape of him claiming he tried to have sex with a married woman and boasting of groping women because of his celebrity.

The floodgates were open by Saturday morning. HVia HuffPost, here’s running list of elected Republican officials taking back their endorsements of Trump or calling on him to step down, one month before the election, after seeing the video.
