Manuela Testolini, Prince’s ex-wife, emerged from the Hennepin County Family Court building after a hearing Thursday.

*Prince’s ex-wife Manuela Testolini was in a Minnesota courtroom Thursday trying to keep a local newspaper from unsealing their 2006 divorce records.

Testolini’s attorneys objected to a request from the Minneapolis Star Tribune to release the records publicly, saying the documents are tied to a private settlement.

But Star Tribune attorney Leita Walker argued that Prince’s privacy died with him and that the court files are newsworthy, given Prince’s death and the case surrounding his estate, which has an estimated value of $300 million or more.

Prince died on April 21 from an accidental overdose of fentanyl.

The Star Tribune reports that Hennepin County Family Court Judge Thomas Fraser took the matter under advisement.

Testolini, who was Prince’s second wife, did not speak in court. She’s currently married to singer Eric Benet.
