*American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Misty Copeland will lend her voice and likeness to the PBS Kids animated preschool series “Peg + Cat.”
The series highlights the adventures of the fearless Peg and Cat as they use math and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and save the day.
Copeland’s episode, to air Oct. 19, will follow Peg and Cat as they plan to take the stage and dance with their idol, Copeland, if Cat can overcome one challenge – his tail.
The series is co-created and executive produced by Jennifer Oxley and Billy Aronson and produced by the Fred Rogers Company for PBS Kids.
