*Walt Disney Animation Studios is set to captivate audiences again with “Zootopia 2,” the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2016 Oscar-winning animated film, premiering in theaters on November 26.
The story dives back into the vibrant animal metropolis, where rookie cops Judy Hopps, voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, and Nick Wilde, voiced by Jason Bateman, tackle their most challenging case yet. A mysterious venomous snake, Gary De’Snake, voiced by Ke Huy Quan, disrupts the city, pulling the duo into a complex investigation that tests their partnership.
The plot thickens as Chief Bogo, voiced by Idris Elba, mandates Judy and Nick to attend a counseling program called Partners in Crisis, disrupting their usual rhythm. The counseling detour is quickly overshadowed by the urgent case, leading the pair to explore uncharted corners of Zootopia.

New characters add fresh dynamics to the franchise. The prominent Lynxley family features Pawbert, voiced by Andy Samberg, the laid-back runt; Milton, the distinguished patriarch played by David Strathairn; Cattrick, the driven eldest son voiced by Macaulay Culkin; and Kitty, the sharp-tongued daughter brought to life by Brenda Song. Other newcomers include Nibbles, voiced by Fortune Feimster, and Dr. Fuzzby, a quokka therapist portrayed by Quinta Brunson.
The sequel also welcomes back familiar voices, including Shakira as Gazelle, Bonnie Hunt as Bonnie Hopps, Don Lake as Stu Hopps, and Nate Torrence as Clawhauser. Jenny Slate returns as Bellwether, alongside Alan Tudyk as Duke Weaselton, Maurice LaMarche as Mr. Big, and Tommy Chong as Yax, with Leah Latham, Josh Dallas, Mark Rhino Smith, and Raymond Persi reprising their roles. This vibrant ensemble promises to deepen the world of Zootopia, delivering a mix of humor, heart, and suspense for fans of all ages.
Catch “Zootopia 2” in theaters on November 26.
