The story follows Joy, a New York fashion designer whose talents are often overlooked by her boss. “Just like her career, Joy has been unlucky in love,” the synopsis notes, as she follows her crush Colton to Colorado, hoping for holiday magic. A sudden snowstorm and an unexpected revelation leave her stranded, setting the stage for a transformative encounter with Ridge, played by Tosin Morohunfola.
Produced, written, and directed by Tyler Perry, “Finding Joy” is backed by producers Angi Bones, Will Areu, and Carmen K. Jones. The ensemble cast includes Brittany S. Hall, Inayah, Eric Stanton Betts, Aaron O’Connell, Natalie O’Connell, Jeffery Thomas Johnson, and Whitney Goin, creating a festive story full of heart, romance, and holiday charm.
