
*At New York Comic Con, Prime Video revealed an intense teaser and confirmed the premiere date for the highly anticipated second season of “Cross,” starring and executive produced by Aldis Hodge.
According to the news release, the eight-episode season, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios, will launch on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories on Wednesday, February 11. The first three episodes will drop immediately, followed by weekly installments leading to the season finale on March 18.
“Cross” is a thrilling crime drama set in Washington, D.C., created by executive producer, showrunner, and writer Ben Watkins. Based on characters from James Patterson’s bestselling Alex Cross book series, the series follows Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge), a brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist with a unique ability to understand the minds of murderers. In Season Two, Cross faces a dangerous vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire magnates.

The new season introduces Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason, and Wes Chatham to the cast, joining returning stars Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill. The ensemble brings fresh dynamics to the Cross universe while continuing the high-stakes storylines that fans have come to expect.
In addition to Hodge and Watkins, “Cross” is executive produced by Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Craig Siebels, Owen Shiflett, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa. The series continues to be a standout collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios, delivering a pulse-pounding, intricate thriller experience.
