*Prime Video has released the official trailer and key art for the animated series “The Chosen Adventures,” set to premiere on October 17, 2025. All 14 episodes, each 11 minutes long, will be available on launch day. Produced by 5&2 Studios, the series will stream in the U.S., United Kingdom, Latin America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
The story follows nine-year-old Abby and her best friend Joshua as they navigate life in the ancient city of Capernaum. Their encounters with a wise craftsman and teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, transform the way they see the world — and Abby has a talking sheep to add to the adventure.
“The trailer exemplifies what excites us so much about this show,” said Dallas Jenkins, executive producer. “It’s funny, heartwarming, for adults as well as kids, and it appropriately captures these great stories through the eyes of a child.”
The voice cast includes Romy Fay as Abby, Jude Zarzaur as Joshua, Paul Walter Hauser as Sheep, Yvonne Orji as Pigeon, Danny Nucci as Abba, and Zehra Fazal as Eema. Jonathan Roumie reprises his role as Jesus, and other recurring and guest voices feature Jordin Sparks, Paras Patel, Elizabeth Tabish, Noah James, George H. Xanthis, Joey Vahedi, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Brandon Potter, Banks Pierce, and Julian Grant.

Ryan Swanson serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner, with Dallas Jenkins executive producing under 5&2 Studios. Additional executive producers include Chris Juen, Chad Gundersen, Keith Alcorn, Kellen Erskine, and Derral Eves, alongside producer Erin Elizabeth Gardner and co-producer Myesha Gosselin.
Earlier this year, Amazon MGM Studios signed a first-look, multi-faceted deal with 5&2 Studios. The agreement grants streaming rights to the first five seasons of “The Chosen,” the drama series “Joseph of Egypt,” and the unscripted series “The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls” on Prime Video. It also includes theatrical and streaming rights to the final two seasons of “The Chosen,” covering the crucifixion and resurrection.
