*Fans at CCXP Brazil got a thrilling announcement as Prime Video revealed that the fifth and final season of “The Boys” will premiere on April 8, 2026. More than 3,000 attendees packed the Thunder Stage to witness showrunner Eric Kripke alongside series stars Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, and Colby Minifie celebrate the series with an electrifying teaser trailer, per the news release.
The upcoming season will debut with two episodes, followed by weekly releases, culminating in the epic series finale on May 20, 2026. The final season will stream exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide, giving fans across the globe a chance to follow the climactic chapter of the hit series.
Season Five dives into Homelander’s chaotic, egomaniacal rule. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie find themselves imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp,” while Annie struggles to organize a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is missing, and Butcher re-emerges armed with a virus capable of wiping all Supes off the map, setting in motion a chain of events that promises to reshape the world.
Based on the New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, “The Boys” was developed for television by Eric Kripke, who serves as executive producer and showrunner. The series also boasts executive producers Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Gabriel Garcia, Ori Marmur, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Netter.
