*New York Times bestselling author Terry Terry McMillan returns with a new romantic drama on Lifetime, “Preach, Pray, Love,” featuring Karrueche Tran as Charlie Jones, a platinum-selling rapper whose wild reputation has propelled her success—and landed her in serious trouble. Following a prison sentence, Charlie’s life takes a new turn when she’s assigned community service under Pastor Kyrus Owens, played by Mark J.P. Hood.
Pastor Owens, a dedicated minister raising funds to build a new home for his congregation, encounters Charlie at a crossroads in both their lives. Despite their vastly different paths, a powerful connection develops between the two. As their relationship deepens, both must confront scrutiny and self-doubt, the synopsis states.

The pastor’s congregation begins to question his devotion to the church, while Charlie wrestles with the challenge of balancing her public persona with her yearning for redemption. Their journey tests their faith and integrity as they learn to trust in “honesty, prayer, and love to bridge the divide—and in the process, win over each other’s communities.”
The film’s ensemble cast includes Tobias Truvillion of “Lust: A Seven Deadly Sins Story,” B. Simone from “Harlem,” Reginae Carter of “Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta,” and Da Brat, who also appeared in “Envy: A Seven Deadly Sins Story.” Watch the trailer above.
