*Tubi has released the first trailer for “Terri Joe: Missionary In Miami,” giving audiences a preview of the chaotic comedy set to arrive in early 2026.
The movie follows the outspoken Southern character Terri Joe as she heads to Miami in an attempt to escape trouble and seek redemption. According to the film’s synopsis, the journey quickly spirals into a farce involving eccentric criminals and the search for a new church where Terri Joe hopes to atone for her sins.
Kelon Dashad Campbell stars as Terri Joe, a character that helped him rise to fame on TikTok under the name Psyiconic. Campbell is an American influencer and comedian best known for portraying satirical characters during livestreams, often improvising interactions with viewers in real time. Terri Joe became his most recognizable persona beginning in 2022, drawing widespread attention for her exaggerated religious persona and sharp, comedic commentary.

Before Terri Joe’s popularity exploded, Campbell livestreamed as characters such as Jeorgia Peach, a Los Angeles party girl, and Amethyst Jade, a goth vampire from Salem. Clips of his Terri Joe livestreams later went viral across social platforms, helping him build a large and largely queer fanbase and surpass one million followers on TikTok by late 2022. By mid-2023, his following had grown to more than 2.4 million.
“Terri Joe: Missionary In Miami” is directed by Dale S. Lewis and features a supporting cast that includes Andrew Romano, Chase A. Garland, Katie Keene, Rolin Alexis, Dylan Bougis, Adam D. Crain, Jasmine Hurt, Gordon Eric Knowles, and Nicholas Ramsay. The film marks a major step for the viral character, bringing Terri Joe from livestream screens to a full-length feature release.
The film is scheduled to premiere on Friday, January 30, 2026.
