*Starbucks is gearing up for summer with a preview of its upcoming seasonal menu, offering a first look at new and returning favorites.
Among the highlights is the Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, a fresh addition that joins the lineup alongside the return of the Summer-Berry Refreshers, USA Today reports. These fan-favorite drinks, first launched in 2024, are known for their vibrant layers and raspberry-flavored popping pearls that add a burst of flavor. The refreshers are available in three versions: Summer-Berry, Summer-Berry with Lemonade, and Summer Skies.
Adding to the sweet treats, Starbucks will also introduce a new Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop. Last summer’s offerings included an Orange Cream Cake Pop, White Chocolate Macadamia Cold Brew, and Pineapple Cloud Cake, following the full summer menu reveal on May 7.
In a separate update, Starbucks announced a change to its employee dress code. Starting May 12, staff will be required to wear solid black tops, ranging from crewneck to button-up, and bottoms in black, khaki, or blue denim. The shift is designed to place more visual emphasis on the brand’s iconic green apron.
“We’re evolving our dress code in all stores to focus on simplified color options that allow our iconic green apron to shine and create a sense of familiarity for our customers, no matter which store they visit across North America,” Starbucks stated.

Starbucks emphasized that this change aims to foster a more cohesive and recognizable look for customers across North America. As part of the rollout, employees will receive two complimentary black T-shirts.
“By updating our dress code, we can deliver a more consistent coffeehouse experience that will also bring simpler and clearer guidance to our partners, which means they can focus on what matters most, crafting great beverages and fostering connections with customers,” the company said in a news release.
The green apron, a symbol of Starbucks since 1987, remains at the center of the company’s visual identity, now made more prominent through this updated wardrobe policy.
