*Michael Elliot has built a career telling stories on screen. Now the award-winning screenwriter is finding a new way to bring those stories to life. Elliot has launched Cinema Puzzles, a premium jigsaw puzzle brand that transforms memorable cinematic moments into hands-on collector experiences.
The brand arrives with official licensing from Universal Pictures, Lionsgate, and The Jim Henson Company. The company bills itself as the only puzzle brand built around film as its foundation. The launch collection draws from some of the most recognizable titles in modern cinema, including “Jurassic World,” “Jaws,” “Love Actually,” “Wicked,” “Shrek,” “Labyrinth,” “Dirty Dancing,” “The Twilight Saga,” and “The Hunger Games.”
Every puzzle in the collection is crafted with high-quality materials and arrives in packaging built for collectors, complete with a two-sided poster that doubles as a display piece or assembly guide. Fans looking to expand their collections on a regular basis can sign up for a monthly subscription offering. At launch, the brand will offer over 250 puzzles, available directly through cinemapuzzles.com starting May 19, with prices ranging from $29 to $49.

Elliot described the concept as rooted in a straightforward but powerful question. “I was inspired by a simple idea: what if the most memorable moments from our favorite movies could live beyond the screen in a way fans can touch, build, and relive?” he said.
“Cinema Puzzles creates a fresh yet familiar way to experience those moments, allowing fans to connect, rebuild the scene piece by piece and rediscover the magic of the film.”
The venture reflects Elliot’s dual identity as both a storyteller and a builder of businesses. His screenwriting credits span more than two decades and include “Brown Sugar,” “Just Wright,” “Like Mike,” “Ruth & Boaz,” and the recent romantic comedy “Relationship Goals.” He is also the founder of Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys, a luxury men’s grooming concept launched in 2013 that has since expanded to more than 70 locations across the country.
With Cinema Puzzles, Elliot continues pushing into new territory where film culture and business innovation meet.
