*Vertical has unveiled a new trailer for “Dracula,” the gothic romance thriller from filmmaker Luc Besson. The film, which premiered in France over the summer, is scheduled to make its U.S. theatrical debut on February 6, 2026.
The newly released preview offers a deeper look at Besson’s reimagining of the iconic literary character, blending romance, horror, and myth. Based on Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel, the film explores the origins of Dracula through a tragic and supernatural lens.
The official synopsis outlines the film’s central conflict: “When a 15th-century prince witnesses the brutal murder of his wife, he renounces God and damns heaven itself. Cursed with eternal life, he is reborn as Dracula, an immortal warlord who defies fate in a blood-soaked crusade to wrench his lost love back from death, no matter the cost. On the verge of reuniting, Dracula is hunted by a relentless priest, sworn to end his immortal reign.”

Caleb Landry Jones leads the film alongside a cast that includes Christoph Waltz, Zoë Bleu, Guillaume de Tonquedec, Matilda de Angelis, Ewens Abid, and Raphael Luce. Waltz portrays a priest determined to destroy Dracula, while Bleu plays the prince’s doomed wife, whose death sets the story in motion. “Dracula” marks his second collaboration with Besson, following their work together on the 2023 film “Dogman.”
Also known as “Dracula: A Love Tale,” the English-language French production presents a stylized and dramatic take on one of literature’s most enduring figures. Watch the stunning new trailer above.
