*HGTV’s beloved series “Love It or List It” has officially returned with a fresh twist. Debuting April 21, new episodes air weekly on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, with longtime host and real estate expert David Visentin now joined by dynamic designer and real estate pro Page Turner. This new season promises high-stakes renovations, emotional decisions, and some of the biggest transformations the series has ever seen.
When asked what makes this season stand out from previous ones, David points to the show’s enduring relevance. “Probably because the show still resonates with people, and it’s been on since 2008. It’s one of the original shows for HGTV,” he said. “And again, it’s still a question that resonates with people. What to do when your house doesn’t work. Do you renovate or do you move? And I think the excitement is it’s back.”
Joining “Love It or List It” was a natural step for Page Turner, who says her years of experience prepared her for the challenge.
“I think my preparation has been my experience. I’ve been in real estate. I’ve been flipping for the last 23 years. I know how to design. I know how to deal with people,” she shared. “I think my experience is my preparation, and my confidence is my preparation. I just jumped in.”
And jump in she did—delivering what she calls the pinnacle of her career. Turner revealed that one of this season’s renovations pushed her creativity to an entirely new level.
“The biggest one for me, I would say, is the biggest one of my career, like my entire renovation career,” she said. “David calls it a rollercoaster of stairs; there were stairs everywhere, just on the first level. I had a mic drop moment. I did something that he said I couldn’t do and that I’ve never done in my career… I dropped the floor. I dropped the whole level, like eight or nine feet. But it needed it. That was the only way for that house to make sense.”
As for working together, both David and Page describe their partnership with genuine warmth and mutual respect. “I love it. I love it,” David said of collaborating with Page. “It’s nice to meet new people that you have an affinity for. That’s what happened. I met a new person that I have an affinity for, and now I get to work with her. And that’s always fun.”
When asked to sum up the season, David’s answer revealed the spirit behind the series.
“Chaos is one of them,” he said. “Whenever you’ve got homeowners that are sort of going in two different directions… that always leads to chaos.”
Both stars have standout episodes they’re especially proud of. For Page, it’s the groundbreaking renovation where she dropped the floor, an episode she calls her “mic drop episode.” For David, it was helping homeowners Joyce and David navigate a major life change.
“These people lived in a house—well, she grew up in the house as a kid, and then he moved into it. So it was never really his house,” David explained. “And he wanted to be downtown… They were north of the city in this bungalow with a big backyard. So what I was showing them was completely different than their house. I was showing them condos and townhouses, and they were going back to a bungalow. They were going to make a decision, basically, between apples and oranges. It was kind of exciting to see; are they going to choose the orange? What are they going to do? Their lives will change so much if they move downtown.”
With new energy, unforgettable renovations, and emotional homeowner journeys, the latest season of “Love It or List It” is a must-watch. Whether fans are rooting for a move or a makeover, the new episodes promise plenty of surprises and a lot of heart.
