
*Lizzo recently opened up in a TikTok Live about her journey to health and wellness, revealing how she’s been working on weight loss and mental well-being.
As MadameNoire reports, the singer shared that she had to start applying a calorie deficit due to her struggles with binge eating. By being more mindful of her food intake, Lizzo has noticed a significant difference in her overall health.
One of her major lifestyle changes involved cutting back on sugary Starbucks drinks, which were adding up to 1,200 calories a day. She also stopped drinking coffee, not only to reduce her calorie intake but also to help regulate her nervous system.
Cutting out caffeine can bring a surprising list of health perks. Many people experience deeper, more restful sleep and notice a drop in blood pressure after ditching their daily dose. It may also help ease anxiety, reduce the frequency of headaches, and even support better digestion. Beyond that, going caffeine-free can contribute to healthier teeth, more balanced hormones, improved nutrient absorption, and gradual weight loss. Some also report feeling more youthful and energized overall, as their body adjusts and benefits from the change.
In her TikTok Live, Lizzo also addressed her long-standing battle with anxiety.

“I’ve been working to get my anxiety under control for years,” she explained.
Through meditation and isolation, Lizzo gave herself the space to focus solely on her well-being, free from distractions. The results, she said, have been transformative: “I felt lighter, energetically and emotionally.”
While Lizzo’s weight loss journey has inspired many of her fans, she emphasized the importance of self-discovery when it comes to health.
“Everybody’s body is different. Find out what works for you,” she said, encouraging others to personalize their approach to wellness.
