*Building off an eventful 2024, Jordan Chiles made her presence known in the fashion arena via the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show.
Vibe reports the 4-foot-11 Olympic gymnast strutted down the runway during the event, dressed in an all-white, Western-inspired bikini complete with a cowboy hat.
At the end of her walk, Chiles gave the crowd something to remember with a front flip that provided a certified highlight. The Runway Show was held as part of Miami Swim Week.
Chiles’ fashion attire only enhanced her physical self by highlighting her “chiseled, athletic frame, proudly while revealing her tattoos. — including one on her waist that symbolizes her journey from elite gymnast to Sports Illustrated cover star.
The 24-year-old sportswoman, alongside Oscar-winning actress Salma Hayek, Henning founder Lauren Chan, and former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne, graces the cover of the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Taking to Instagram, Chiles thanked the SI Swimsuit team for the opportunity to walk in her very first Swim Week.
The Olympian summed up her experience, posting what Vibe labeled as a “Beyoncé-esque quote, saying, “this ain’t Texas, wait…. we in Miami turning up another notch.”
Chiles’ runway experience comes after a headline-generating situation at the 2024 Olympics. Although she initially placed third, Chiles’ bronze medal was retracted after a controversial scoring review.
The review of her floor routine, which earned a 13.666 and placed her in fifth place, was successfully challenged by Chiles’ coach, whose protest helped bump up the ranking to third with a score of 13.766.

Soon after, conflict returned as the Romanian Gymnastics Federation voiced its disapproval of the timing of the inquiry, claiming it missed the one-minute window. Romania’s appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport was successful, and Chiles was forced to give up her medal.
Team USA attempted to fight the decision, but their appeal fell flat. In a statement shared with fans, Chiles didn’t hold back about the pain and injustice of the outcome.
“I am overwhelmed by the love I have received over the past few days. I am also incredibly grateful to my family, teammates, coaches, fans, USAG, and the USOPC for their unwavering support during this difficult time,” she wrote. “I have no words. This decision feels unjust and comes as a significant blow, not just to me, but to everyone who has championed my journey.”
“To add to the heartbreak, the unprompted, racially driven attacks on social media are wrong and extremely hurtful,” continued Chiles. “I’ve poured my heart and soul into this sport, and I am so proud to represent my culture and my country.”
