*BET Media Group has revealed that the hit courtroom comedy “Ms. Pat Settles It” will return for its third season on Tuesday, November 4 at 10 PM ET / 9 CT. Comedian Ms. Pat once again presides over the bench, blending “her signature mix of unfiltered truth, quick wit, and heartfelt humor in a courtroom where no topic is off limits.”
Season three raises the stakes with bigger cases and unexpected moments, including a surprise dispute between two of Ms. Pat’s own children. Per the news release, the new lineup features reality stars and online personalities such as Tommie Lee, Mehgan James, and Daphnique Springs, who join everyday litigants in a mix of laughter, surprises, and high-energy drama.
The courtroom gains extra star power through Ms. Pat’s celebrity jury, which includes NeNe Leakes, DeRay Davis, Karlous Miller, Safaree Samuels, Navv Greene, Jasmin Brown, and Carmen Barton. Comedian and viral creator Calimar White also steps in as the new bailiff, adding to what BET describes as “a fast-paced mix of comedy, chaos, and cultural commentary that’s as real as it gets.”
Behind the scenes, “Ms. Pat Settles It” is executive produced by Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams, SallyAnn Salsano, Ebony McClain, and Frank Miccolis for 495 Productions. Tiffany Lea Williams and Angela Aguilera executive produce for BET, with Ashley Taylor serving as producer.
Ms. Pat’s growing presence on television follows a wave of success for her multi-Emmy-nominated sitcom “The Ms. Pat Show,” which is entering its fifth season on BET+. The Huffington Post called her “the real hero of sitcom TV,” while The Hollywood Reporter praised, “Think Roseanne of the 1980s and 1990s, but even rawer,” and Essence Magazine declared, “Ms. Pat is headed for the comedy stratosphere.”
Following the critical and ratings success of her projects, BET/Paramount Global signed Ms. Pat to a multi-genre overall deal to develop new scripted and unscripted content across its platforms. Under that deal, “Ms. Pat Settles It” launched in October 2023, ranking as the No. 2 primetime show for Black viewers and Black women ages 18–49.
Ms. Pat has also made her mark beyond BET. She appeared as a roaster on Netflix’s “Torching 2024: A Roast Of The Year,” which debuted among the platform’s “Top 10 TV Shows in the US.” Her stand-up special “Y’All Wanna Hear Something Crazy?,” directed by Robert Townsend and executive produced by Wanda Sykes, was hailed by The New York Times as “superb material” and by Indiewire as proof that “Ms. Pat breaks through the noise.”
Expanding her repertoire, Ms. Pat recently starred in the remake of “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead” alongside Nicole Richie and June Squibb. She also continues to connect with audiences through her top-rated comedy podcast, “The Patdown.”
