*The downward spiral of Sean “Diddy” Combs, is is not lost on Wendy Williams, who isn’t shy in airing her feelings about the “It’s All About the Benjamins” hitmaker.
During her recent interview with “The Breakfast Club,” the former daytime talk show queen had a direct response when asked to weigh in about Combs being arrested for sex trafficking and racketeering
“Diddy will go to prison for life, people,” the 60-year-old matriarch, who appeared on the popular radio outlet with her niece, Alex Finnie, predicted. “You don’t know things that I knew about Diddy back in the day,” she added about the hip-hop mogul. “And you know what, it’s about time. It is about time. Diddy done.”
Williams’ remarks mark the latest in a long history between her and Combs. The New York Post notes how far the pair’s history goes back, referencing the year 1998, when Williams accused the 55-year-old Bad Boy Records founder of “single-handedly” ruining her career by getting her fired from her popular Hot 97 show.
Touching on the situation in her 2004 memoir “The Wendy Williams Experience,” Williams wrote about a “certain level of contempt for Puff” because of what he did.

“The hell he put me through. I will never forget. But I don’t hate him,” she penned.
In 2019, Williams alluded to Combs’ involvement in the drama that resulted in a confrontation that had all eyes on her.
“Once upon a time, there was a music mogul who sent his all-girl group to beat my ass in front of the radio station. Fact!” she said at the time during an episode of her eponymous talk show. “I finished my shift, round up my headphones, put my bag [on] my arm and I see everybody lined up at the window looking down on the sidewalk.”
Chatting with “The Breakfast Club” the radio and TV icon also mentioned her conservatorship, which she compared to a “prison.” Williams, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, went on to claim she can’t leave the facility where she’s being held Financially, Williams said she only has $15.
As Williams weighs in on her past dealings with Combs, the entertainer has more to worry about than Williams spilling past tea.

Since being arrested in September on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, Combs remains behind bars after being denied bail three times. The embattled rapper’s plight has generated numerous headlines, including those related to Combs’ alleged “freak off” sex parties, which federal prosecutors claim sometimes involved women who were threatened or coerced into performing grueling, hours-long sex acts.
The freak-offs only scratch the surface of Combs’ troubles, with multiple lawsuits against him over recent months, all with claims of them being sexually assaulted by Combs.
Combs has pleaded not guilty in the case and faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted. His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5.
