Joseph Sikora returns as Tommy Egan, navigating a treacherous Chicago drug scene while evading the Feds and rival gangs. The series, a gritty spin-off from Courtney A. Kemp’s original “Power,” promises high-stakes drama as Tommy fights to dominate the city and protect his loved ones.
Joining Sikora are Isaac Keys as Diamond Sampson, Kris D. Lofton as Jenard Sampson, Manuel Eduardo Ramirez as Miguel Garcia, and Adrienne Walker as Shanti “Showstopper” Page. The cast also includes Miriam A. Hyman as US Attorney Stacy Marks, Anthony Fleming III as JP, and Lucien Cambric as D-Mac. In exciting news for fans, STARZ has also greenlit “Power: Origins,” an 18-episode prequel diving into the early days of Ghost and Tommy in New York City. The series, described as a bold and spirited chapter in the “Power” saga, will explore the duo’s rise to infamy. MeKai Curtis, who plays Kanan Stark in “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” is confirmed to appear.
Showrunner Sascha Penn shared his enthusiasm, saying, “I’m excited to continue to explore the origin stories of the Power Universe’s founding fathers. Ghost and Tommy’s backstories have fueled years of constant fascination and speculation among fans… viewers won’t see [what’s coming].”

STARZ’s Kathryn Busby added, “Our fans have been asking for Ghost and Tommy’s origins story since we first met them in Power — and with the launch of this series, we’re delivering in a big way.”
As the fourth spin-off, “Power: Origins” follows “Power Book II: Ghost,” which concluded in 2024, “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” wrapping its fifth season, and “Power Book IV: Force.” The “Power” universe continues to expand, keeping fans hooked on its raw, compelling storytelling.
