*Attorney Antonio Moore discusses Donald Trump‘s inauguration And goes through his executive order. Moore also answers why Snoop Dogg & Nelly performed to celebrate. Nelly has since stated it’s not political.
But Moore in the above video takes the stance that it is all political. And none of these entertainers should be allowed to not stand on their proverbial political square.
During a livestream with fellow rapper Willie D, Nelly stated: “But what I will say is that I respect the office. This isn’t politics. The politics, for me, is over. [Trump] won! He’s the president. He’s the commander in chief of what I would like to say is the best country in the world … It is an honor for me to perform for the president of the United States, regardless of who is in office.”
Many rappers have been name-dropping Trump for decades. Creating what Moore calls a sense of undeserved power in the Black community for the Trump brand. Moore makes a larger argument that this has bigger implications for a Black community looking for financial answers for their respective families.
Snoop Dogg said to anyone who performed for Trump at his inauguration is a “jigaboo a$$ n****” and an “Uncle Tom.”

Moore emphasizes the importance of accountability for entertainers who choose to engage with political figures, arguing that their platforms carry significant weight within the Black community.
He believes that by aligning themselves with the Trump brand, artists like Nelly and Snoop Dogg inadvertently endorse policies and ideologies that may not serve the best interests of their fans.
This connection, Moore argues, perpetuates a cycle of misplaced power and influence, drawing attention away from the systemic issues affecting Black families.
He calls for a more conscious approach from artists, urging them to recognize their role in shaping public perception and advocating for genuine financial solutions for their communities.
Are you really upset that Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross performing for Trump?
Why?
They are rappers, they have more in common with Trump than you.
They don’t care about you, you don’t know these people.
Frankly this is your fault.. pic.twitter.com/oHsT9wSsie
