*T.I. is finding himself on the bad side of social media users after getting into it with a bouncer at a Texas-based restaurant. The recent incident stemmed from the bouncer denying T.I. entry into the restaurant when the rapper-turned-comedian didn’t have an ID on him to show the bouncer, HotNewHipHop reports.
Annoyed when he wasn’t let into the Austin, TX eatery, an angry T.I. took his frustration out on the bouncer who turned him away. A video of the incident captures the entertainer making fun of the bouncer’s clothes, shoes, and more.
“There’s a sucker right here at the front talkin’ ’bout I need some ID to get in somewhere,” T.I. said before going in on the man’s outfit.
Despite receiving heat during the exchange, the bouncer remained silent and never yielded on denying T.I. entry, HNHH mentioned
As news of T.I.’s encounter emerged on social media, users sided with the bouncer, saying the Atlanta hitmaker was wrong in the way he handled the situation, which they labeled immature.
Feedback on the incident further praised the bouncer for staying during the situation and not letting T.I. get the best of him with his remarks.
“He was doing his job,” one Instagram user wrote in The Shade Room’s comments section. “Your job as an ADULT Is to have your ID on you always [shrug emoji].”
“Famous or not, the man still gotta do his job,” another user commented.
So far, there’s been no word from T.I. on the backlash he’s getting from the incident with the bouncer.
The situation marks the latest incident involving the “What You Know” rhymesayer.
In November, Young Thug‘s father Jeffery Williams Sr. called out artists from Atlanta who didn’t voice their support for his son while he was behind bars.
The uproar brought out social media users who suspected Williams Sr. was referring to T.I. Suspicion was heightened after T.I. shared a video of him FaceTiming Young Thug following his prison release.
“All this, for your personal gain. It’s just for your personal gain. Your personal hype. Trying to make yourself relevant… Where have y’all been?” Williams Sr. wondered.
