*A new poll suggests Rep. Cori Bush (D-Missouri) could lose the Democratic primary this summer.
The Squad” member is losing by 22 points to rival Wesley Bell in the Aug. 6 contest, according to the GOP firm Remington Research. Only 401 voters participated in the poll, the New York Post reports.
“It’s a big red flag for far-left Squad lawmakers,” Josh Kraushar, editor-in-chief of Jewish Insider, posted on X. “This data is yet another example why pandering to the left-wing radicalism on Israel in the Dem party is a counterproductive strategy for Biden.”
According to the survey, 50 percent of respondents preferred Bell over Bush, a former prosecutor.
Meanwhile, we reported earlier that Bush and her fellow House Democratic “Squad” are in crisis, with controversies, criminal investigations, and political peril, Politico reports.
Bush, along with Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.), and Summer Lee (D-Pa.) are engaged in aggressive fundraising and are facing competitive primaries, according to the report.
The Justice Department is investigating Bush’s campaign’s spending on security services. “Bowman pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for pulling a Capitol fire alarm; Tlaib was censured for statements about the Israel-Hamas war; and the GOP yanked Omar from a committee over her past comments about Israel,” Politico writes.

Bush has also been critical of the Israeli government amid the Israel-Hamas war.
Her criticism of Israel “caused her some blowback within her Missouri congressional district, which includes all of St. Louis and some of its suburbs — but she has not backed down,” The Post writes.
