*Judge Greg Mathis is calling for Black entertainers to end public feuds following Katt Williams and Mo’Nique’s bombshell interviews on Club Shay Shay.
“Stop going after each other in public like this. You’re embarrassing yourselves, [and] you’re embarrassing our community,” Mathis said in a video statement shared on social media, Revolt reports.
“I know many times you have to defend yourself about what’s being said, but why can’t we do it directly? And I just want you to know, I believe that we’re being laughed at by all the major studios and by their executives seeing us in public, Black folks, going at each other,” said the television court show host,” Mathis added.
His remarks came on the heels of Mo’Nique’s appearance on Club Shay Shay, during which she slammed Tiffany Haddish, D.L. Highley, Oprah, and Tyler Perry.
In a video response, Hughley mocked Mo’s weight and her husband and noted that she barely has a relationship with her adult children.

“You don’t see this among other communities, and that’s why I say you’re hurting yourselves, and you’re hurting our community, and you’re hurting the young people who are looking and want to learn and need to learn how to resolve disputes in a better way,” Mathis continued without mentioning Mo’Nique’s.
“I’m no saint; I’m guilty of having temper issues from time to time on my show,” he said. “That’s entertainment. You guys, say what ya want; that’s part of your entertainment, but don’t go out [of] your way to personally attack each other, particularly your families. I appeal to you for that, let’s not turn on each other, let’s turn toward each other.”

“The Parkers” star responded to Mathis’ advice during a recent performance on Saturday (February 10), in Albany, New York.
Mo addressed her critics, including Stephen A. Smith, in a viral clip (see IG footage above). In the video, she runs across the stage and says: “You got to run to the apology, n—-. You got to run to it. I got to give one. I listened to Brother Greg Mathis. I heard you, Brother Greg Mathis. I heard you, Stephen A. Smith. I want y’all to understand something about me. When I have communicated something wrong, I’m a b—- who’s going to say, ‘I’m sorry.’ I’m a b—- who’s going to own what the f— I said. I’m a b—- who’s going to walk in what the f— I said. And I owe two motherf—— an apology because I communicated some s— wrong to them some years ago.”
Mo’Nique continued, “Tyler Perry said I have to give him and Oprah Winfrey a public apology and I’m going to give it right now, tonight, in front of you n—- in Albany, New York. Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry, I want to apologize for telling y’all to suck my d**k because I forgot to tell y’all to lick the nuts that came with them.”
