*World-renowned legendary award-winning Gospel recording artist, Lillian Lilly will make history as she prepares to do the filming of her first music video on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Christ Tabernacle Church in Jackson, MS where Rev. Hosea J. Hines is the pastor.
This will be a historic milestone in Lilly’s career in the Gospel music industry. It will be hosted by Emmy-nominated and award-winning news anchor, Kayla Thompson of WJTV News 12.
The music video taping marks another accomplishment for the anticipated release of Lilly’s new single, At the Center of Grace by Xpress Music Group, Inc., a new independent record label in Atlanta, Georgia.
The taping begins at 3:30 PM CST and is open to the public.
Doors will close at 3:15 PM CST. According to Xpress Music Group, the production will be directed by Texas Gospel Music Excellence Award winner James C. Birdsong, Jr., three-time Stellar Award nominee and multi-award-winning femcee Miz Tiffany, and Emmy Award-winning videographer Justin M. Burks. It is described as a live performance setting with additional scenes in a storyline.
Since the worldwide release of At the Center of Grace on all major online music stores, it has already received positive reviews, more than 5K streams, and airplay on radio stations throughout the United States and abroad with placements on the charts, including Mediabase/Billboard. Lilly recently received three nominations in the first round of the 2024 30th Annual Gospel Choice Music Awards for Christian Contemporary Artist of the Year, Female Artist/Vocalist of the Year, and Gospel House Artist of the Year.
A native of Wesson, MS, Lilly is best known as the principal lead vocalist and charter member of the world-renowned award-winning Mississippi Mass Choir. For more than 35 years, she has performed, recorded and toured both with the choir and as a solo artist. Along the way, Lilly has received numerous awards and accolades, including GRAMMY®, Stellar, Dove and Soul Train Music Awards. As a solo artist, Lilly received two Stellar Award nominations for her previous solo albums, Gotta Have Faith and The Other Part of Me.
