*She may not have any time-traveling superpowers, but actor/activist Jennifer Lewis has an idea of what the future may hold if Donald Trump is reelected.
During a recent appearance on SiriusXM radio’s “Mornings With Zerlina,” the self-proclaimed “Mother of Black Hollywood,” detailed her vision of a second Trump presidency. One that finds Black people and other minorities placed “in camps” if they don’t turn out to the polls to vote for the controversial reality TV fixture turned politician, according to Vibe.
“He will punish everybody that didn’t vote for him,” said Lewis, who labeled #45 a new age “Hitler” and non-voters “idiots.” “See, this motherf***er is Hitler. He didn’t come to play. That motherf***er will have us in camps … because we sat our fat a**es on the couch. Because we were complacent and spoiled and rotten and mad.”
Touching on the notion of Black people inviting conflict with Trump, Lewis dismissed the thought, countering with her belief that the majority of people just want to “feed our children and be equal.”
As the chat continued, the former “Black-ish” star brought up the issue that “white people are scared” because they are “becoming a minority.” Continuing her future vision, Lewis predicted that Caucasians will be active in brining that scenario to life by doing “”everything they can to stay in those gated communities, not pay taxes, and put those ni**ers in their places and get those w*tbacks out of this country.”
To bring in her point, the entertainer went into the past with less-than-stellar conditions for Black people during slavery while “[building] this country.” Among those conditions, Lewis remembered learning how white slave owners “raped us in your barns,” “whipped us,” “lynched us” and “cut babies out of our stomachs while we hung from f**king trees.”
In addition to slavery, Vibe noted Lewis’ transition to Jan. 6, 2021, when the U.S. Capital in Washington D.C. was attacked by a mob of Trump supporters protesting his loss to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election. Citing the notorious incident, the entertainment veteran reminded outlandish Trump supporters that although “We all God’s babies,” they have been “f**king up.”
