*Former NFL superstar Randy Moss captivated fans with his extraordinary football talent, but he is now seeking prayers and support as he faces significant health challenges.

Known for his record-setting performances and remarkable athleticism, Moss recently revealed that he has been dealing with an internal health issue that is affecting his eyesight.

The 45-year-old Hall of Famer took to Instagram on Sunday, addressing his followers while working with his cohosts on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown.

“I’ve been battling something internal,” he disclosed, urging his fans, whom he affectionately calls his “prayer warriors,” to keep him and his family in their thoughts during this difficult time. In his message, he opted to wear sunglasses, clarifying that it was due to this health issue rather than a fashion statement.

Despite not detailing his specific health struggles, Moss maintained an optimistic outlook, stating he is surrounded by a great team of doctors. He also emphasized the importance of regular check-ups and blood work, particularly urging men to take charge of their health.

“Don’t worry,” Moss reassured his fans. “I’ve got this.”

Randy Moss rose to fame as one of the most dominant wide receivers in NFL history, recording an impressive 156 touchdown catches and over 15,000 receiving yards during his 14-year career. He was selected 21st overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 1998 NFL Draft, where he quickly made his mark by setting the NFL single-season record for touchdown receptions by a rookie with 17. His outstanding performance earned him the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

After retiring from professional football, Moss transitioned into a broadcasting career, becoming a studio analyst for ESPN’s football coverage, including Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown. In July 2022, he stepped away from the Monday night role while continuing his contributions on Sundays.

Moss was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018, a testament to his incredible influence on the game and the legacy he has built. Despite the current health concerns, Moss’s supporters, including colleagues who donned sunglasses during broadcasts in solidarity, remain hopeful for his recovery.
