*A popular TikToker known as Reesa Teesa went viral with her 52-part “Who TF Did I Marry?!?” series in which she exposes her “pathological liar” ex-husband.
The story nearly broke TikTok after being picked up by mainstream outlets such as the Washington Post, Rolling Stone, and Time magazine. The nearly 8-hour series has garnered over 122 million views.
“It’s entertaining, I know it’s gone viral, but it is not easy telling this story,” Reesa Teesa says in Part 44 of the series. “I made a decision to share my story, what I went through in [the] hopes that it helps just one person.”
As Time reports, the Atlanta woman said she posted her tale in separate videos so people could listen to her story “like an audiobook.”
In the clips, Reesa Teesa details how she met her ex on a dating app and the progression of their relationship during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also reflects on their decision to move in together, their marriage in January 2021—and the unraveling of everything after she discovered him lying multiple times.

Once social media users tracked the ex’s profile on social media (his user name is Legion), they immediately harassed him. TMZ reports that Teesa’s ex-husband, Jerome McCoy, is considering legal action over “Who TF Did I Marry.”
McCoy informed the outlet that he plans to consult with lawyers on Monday to explore potential legal recourse against Reesa Teesa. He alleges that the viral series has negatively impacted his job at a hospital. He intends to tell his side of the story, telling TMZ that Reesa lied about him in her videos.
He claims Ressa attempted to patch things up with him and allegedly threatened to “expose” him if he refused to reconcile, Local 12 reports.
According to The Jasmine Brand, McCoy took to social media claiming his ex-wife “cheated” on him with someone named “Bradley.”
“We went to marriage counseling, didn’t work, and we broke up. But all my message to her is please stop lying to these people and tell them the real reason I left you,” he said in the clip. “You cheated. I caught you in the house with Bradley.”
