*Cardi B is ending her six-year marriage to rapper Offset.
Sources tell TMZ that the split is not related to infidelity. According to insiders, this has been a long time coming, with the couple having grown apart. One source noted, “They’re just disconnected from each other.”
PEOPLE reports that Cardi B is filing for primary custody of their two kids, daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2½.
This marks the second time Cardi B has filed for divorce from Offset. She initially pulled the plug in 2020 but later withdrew the petition.
Cardi B previously told fans that she had been dropping hints about their split on social media. During an Instagram Live in December 2023, Cardi noted that she is single but fans assumed it was another PR stunt.

“I’ve been single for a minute now,” the rapper said at the time. “But I have been afraid,” she said. “Not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been, like, a sign.”
As TMZ reports, in December, Cardi posted, “You know when you just out grow relationships … I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings … I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”
Meanwhile, Offset recently denied rumors that he’s cheating on his wife.
As we reported earlier, the speculation arose from a video showing the 32-year-old rapper with a woman named Pretty Redz at a casino, leading fans to accuse him of cheating on Cardi B.
Offset took to Instagram Live to make clear that Pretty Redz is not his romantic partner, writing, “Shawty ain’t my shawty.”
He also called on fans to “do the research” before spreading rumors.
“I’m at a public place gambling at a casino with a married 8 month pregnant woman. Wtf I look like being outside publicly cheating SMD!!!”
Pretty Redz also addressed the drama on social media, stating, “SMH that man wasn’t with me. I was already there with my husband’s sister & brother and I’m 7 months pregnant… y’all really have to stop with this type of behavior.”
