*Rapper Blueface has been sentenced to four years in prison for violating his probation related to 2021 assault charges.
This violation stemmed from a 2021 incident involving the assault of a security guard at a club in San Fernando Valley, California. Blueface’s parents, Karlissa Saffold and Johnathan Michael Porter Sr. were on hand for the verdict in a California court. They later took to social media to update fans of the hip-hop star.
“I want to thank everybody for all the love and all the support today,” Karlissa posted on her Instagram account.
“I don’t want y’all to think that God didn’t show up today because he did. And if you were in the courtroom, you heard Jonathan take accountability, you heard Jonathan sound like Jonathan.”
She added, “He’s in his right frame of mind. We didn’t get the verdict that we wanted to today, but we got some closure, we got some new beginnings, and we are all hopeful.”

Blueface’s manager, Wack100, confirmed the sentencing. “He got four years, 400-something days off. Comes down to three years, he go to state… he’ll be home in nine to 10 months,” he said, Complex reports.

In related news, Blue’s baby mama, Chrisean Rock, is currently behind bars facing eight years in prison on drug-related charges in Oklahoma.
The Source reports that Rock is charged with failure to have a tax stamp on controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and possession of CDS with intent to distribute, each carrying a potential four-year prison sentence.
