*Whoopi Goldberg wants you to know that her bladder is not as strong as it used to be.
Speaking to Page Six during Glenn Close‘s Bring Change to Mind’s 11th annual Revels & Revelations Gala on Oct. 9, the actress, 67, revealed how she keeps her mind in check.
“I try to laugh and pee,” Goldberg said.
She also noted that her accidental potty breaks happen more often now that she’s at a “certain age” and whenever she’s “having too much fun.”
“You go, ‘Oops, gotta go!’” she told the outlet.

As reported by MadameNoire, the Bring Change to Mind Revels & Revelations fundraiser aims to “end the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness.” This year, actor Ryan Reynolds was honored with the nonprofit’s Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award, which was presented by the late actor’s children, Zak and Zelda.
“I watched them growing up,” Goldberg told Page Six of reuniting with Williams’ children.
“It’s hard when people have gone, and then you see the lights that they left behind. It’s kind of wonderful,” she added.
On the Oct. 10 broadcast of “The View,” Goldberg explained why she supports the annual star-studded gala.
“We’re all going through it. You can pretend that you’re not, but this is not easy. These days that we are going through are not easy,” Goldberg said, per MadameNoire. “Checking on your mental health is really important.”
“I am looking forward to a spectacular evening and am grateful for the generosity of my fellow artists who will gather to honor Ryan Reynolds and to inspire what I hope will be a record-breaking evening to sustain and create vital Bring Change to Mind Clubs throughout this country,” said Close ahead of her foundation’s mental health fundraiser last week, per THR.
