Have you ever turned into a stranger’s driveway to make a U-turn, because you got turned around with your directions? I’ve done that too.
When I lived in the nation’s capital, I would sometimes end up at an address in Northeast D.C., when I was looking for an address in Northwest D.C. Same address; different quadrant of the city.Â
These are simple mistakes that people make every day. So if news reports are true, people are getting shot at and killed for making common mistakes.Â

I’m a 2nd Amendment advocate. I believe in a person’s right to bear arms. But events of the past two weeks prove just because the Constitution gives the right to possess a weapon doesn’t mean everybody should, especially if that person doesn’t have the temperament to make sound decisions about when it’s necessary or when there’s absolutely no need to use it.Â
