Shirley Strawberry Will Be the Subject of Her Own Strawberry Letter (Watch)

*Steve Harvey Morning Show co-host Shirley Strawberry, on Monday, Sept. 11, will deliver a “Strawberry Letter” about her own marriage to a cheating, jailed husband, according to SandraRose.com.

The “Strawberry Letter” segment features guests discussing a wide range of personal problems – from marriage to family troubles. In a promo that ran Friday, Sept. 8, Harvey announced that Monday’s Strawberry Letter, titled “I didn’t know my life was a real live strawberry letter” — is “’bout to get real.” Steve said they will discuss “What got said, how everybody felt…”

Strawberry’s “Letter” will be about leaked jailhouse phone calls that reveal she is still communicating with her incarcerated husband, Earnest “Ernesto” Williams, who reportedly has a mistress. The 58-year-old was arrested in 2022 on fraud and charged with operating a credit repair scam along with his mistress Ericka King, 48, who allegedly pretended to be his attorney. King is currently out on bond awaiting trial. There are also jailhouse phone calls between Ernesto and his mistress.

Williams also faces child pornography charges after police allegedly found indecent photos of an underaged child on his computer. He was also charged with wire fraud and identity theft, among a host of other infractions.

The jailhouse phone calls, placed between October 2022 and July 2023, were obtained by a YouTuber who filed a public records request for the audio. Both parties were warned that the calls were being recorded.

In one call, Strawberry said she feared her job was at risk if folks knew her husband was in jail. She told Williams that Harvey reminded her of a conduct clause in her contract, and advised her to distance herself from Williams or risk losing her job. She told Williams she’s contemplating a move to Los Angeles after losing her home, car and $200,000 wedding ring. Ernesto told her to “walk away” and “do what you got to do.” Shirley replied: “Well, honey, let me ask you this — and I’m asking you this ’cause I want to be crystal clear. You’re not talking about divorce are you?”

In another phone call, leaked on Sept. 6, Strawberry appeared to be envious of the luxurious lifestyle maintained by Harvey’s wife, Marjorie.

“You know what… Marjorie has her own workout room and her own spa. She could go in there and get massages every day,” she told Williams. “People come to her house and work her out – all of that. I was like, oh, god, what a dream.”

Williams asked if Marjorie looks old. Strawberry said Marjorie wasn’t at home when she visited, but, “If she was there we probably wouldn’t have been all over the house,” Shirley laughed. She suggested that Steve is “scared” of Marjorie.

“She looks at us as the help,” Shirley said later in the call.

In the latest phone call leak, Strawberry tells her husband that cops seized her truck outside a hair salon in Roswell, Georgia.

“What truck?” he asked her.

“What do you mean what truck?”

“Why would they do that?”

Shirley said police told her the truck was being seized to pay restitution to his victims. She also said police seized her $200,000 wedding ring.

She said police were waiting for her outside of the hair salon, and her vehicle was towed away. She said the cops offered her a ride home, but she opted to accept a ride from her hairstylist.

“What kind of sh*t is that?” Ernesto said.

“The same officer that arrested you was there. Officer Fields, the little white lady,” she told Ernesto. “I guess they’ve been following me,” she said.

Shirley insisted the officer set Williams up.
