Pizza Hut wants to say ‘thank you’ to ALL delivery drivers during the busiest time of the year with the new Reverse Delivery doormat.
Each day from Dec. 6 through 10, Pizza Hut “will give delivery drivers a free box of pizza when they leave a box at your door. The mat, which will be available for free at shopatpizzahut.com, features a QR code that scans directly to shopatpizzahut.com where any delivery driver can have the opportunity to redeem a gift card code from Pizza Hut,” per the news release.
Put the mat outside your front door or wherever the delivery people leave packages.
The pizza chain will release 50 mats daily on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Many of us look to delivery drivers to deliver joy during the holiday season,” said Pizza Hut CMO, Lindsay Morgan, in a press release, Allrecipes reports. “This was our chance to give some cheer back in the form of a delicious meal for delivery drivers to enjoy during their busiest time of year.”
Morgan said to CNN, “We wanted to spread some joy during this season for those delivery drivers.”
“We trust that by doing this good deed for our delivery drivers, people will not take advantage of this and allow for those working countless hours this holiday season to enjoy their favorite meal from Pizza Hut,” Morgan added.
The “Reverse Delivery” offer is available while supplies last until December 27.
