Meagan Good’s Co-Star Defends Relationship with Jonathan Majors | Video

*Meagan Good’s former “Cousin Skeeter” costar, Robert Ri’chard, is weighing in on her PR relationship with troubled actor Jonathan Majors.

Good’s romance with Majors is apparently her first serious dating adventure since her divorce from DeVon Franklin.  The pair got together weeks after Majors was arrested in NYC for allegedly physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Rumor has it that the “Creed III” star will write a big check to make this messy situation go away in an effort to save his superhero career with Marvel. He is facing several counts of assault and harassment. If convicted, Majors could be jailed for up to a year.

TMZ caught up with Ri’chard who shared his thoughts on Good’s alleged relationship with the movie star.

“I think that she’s one of the most iconic people on the planet,” Ri’chard said of Good, Complex reports. “I mean we love Meagan Good right? I think the entire world does. We use her as a standard for what beauty is both inside and out; she’s a Godly woman, so we have nothing to worry about.”

Asked if Good dating Majors is a bad look right now, Ri’chard said, “I’m sure she’s not the first person who stood behind a man who might be wrongfully judged for something that he may or may not have done. I don’t know the guy personally though.”

He called Good a “great judge of character” and noted that she doesn’t engage in behavior that “would jeopardize how people see her,” he added.

Regarding Majors’ criminal case in New York, Ri’chard said, “We should all be innocent until proven guilty. It’s important to let … the facts come out as they may.”

Earlier this month, Majors and Good were spotted together in Fez, Morocco. TMZ posted images of the couple in a shop called Art Naji, where Good was allegedly negotiating a deal with the Art Naji staff, The Blast reports.  According to the outlet, things are apparently getting serious between the couple as Good has even introduced Majors to her family. 

Reports that Good and Majors are dating first surfaced in May.
