*Mathew Knowles hit up social media on Christmas Eve to post a throwback photo of his superstar daughters Beyoncé and Solange.
The adorable image shows the young siblings decorating a Christmas tree. Knowles captioned the post, “At that age, something as simple as putting up an ornament on a tree can feel like the biggest thing the world,” he wrote on Instagram. “And, it was to both of them!”
Knowles added, “What I love most about this very moment is the sheer love, determination, and confidence that Beyoncé has in her eyes while looking at Solange.”
The proud father continued, “It’s almost as if Solange was about to place the ornament on a higher part of the tree than she was used to, or maybe it was a very special ornament to her. And, it’s like Beyoncé is looking at her and saying ‘go for it.’ Solange has been going for it in life ever since and has never stopped.”
Knowles separated from Bey and Solange’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, in 2011, around the time he stopped serving as Beyonce’s manager.

“I am grateful for everything he has taught me,” Queen Bey said in a statement about the decision at the time, per People. “I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hardworking entrepreneurs, and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.”
The famed music mogul, who also managed Destiny’s Child, announced in 2019 that he was retiring from the industry. Knowles is now turning his 2017 memoir into a film and television series.
He partnered with Say Unkel Entertainment to adapt his memoir “Racism From the Eyes of a Child” into a feature film and limited series, Variety reports.
Knowles launched his Impact podcast on iHeartRadio in 2019, a weekly one-hour program where he shares his perspectives on racism, health and wellness, entrepreneurship, and the music business.
