Fans React After Lupita Nyong’o Debuts Shaved Head | Video

*Lupita Nyong’o is stunning and glowing with her freshly shaven head that she debuted recently on social media.

In a selfie post on Instagram, the actress, 40, wrote “Happy without hair!” and also joked that her “Application for the Dora Milaje submitted!” — referring to the female soldiers in Marvel’s “Black Panther” franchise. 

Fans had mixed reactions in the comments, with one person speculating that the movie star is undergoing cancer treatment.

One IG follower defended Nyong’o from the hateful critics, writing “Why does everybody feel that hair defines a woman? Why does it even matter? Isn’t everybody on their OWN Personal JOURNEY in this life? Your Cut is bold, beautiful and fierce! Hair doesn’t define a person’s individual character anymore than race does. No matter what a person does it’s somebody that has to hate on THEIR Personal DECISIONS! Continue to be you because what you eat doesn’t make any of us crap! They need to get themselves some business!!”

Another fan commented, “You just gave me more confidence to accept and embrace my current situation.”

“Lupita has shaved her sisterlocs? Noooooooo” a disappointed fan tweeted. “Still cute but Nooooooooooo.”

On April 16, Nyong’o posted a TikTok video of her big hair chop and wrote in the caption, “I cut off my hair!”

“Wakanda forever,” one supporter wrote. Another commented, “Stunning! Face Card never declines!!!”
