*La La Anthony lent her support at the ceremony where New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed the “Clean Slate Act” on Thursday, allowing ex-offenders to pursue employment and housing without being tied to their criminal records, according to Hollywood Unlocked. “The Clean Slate Act will seal certain criminal records following a person’s release from incarceration. While eligible misdemeanor convictions will be sealed for three years after the release, eligible felony convictions will be sealed for eight years after release. Of course, the sealing of the records is on the condition that the individual convicted of the offense has not committed any additional crimes,” reports HU. La La posted the following caption on her IG grid, “Still floating from this historic moment. Yesterday, Governor Hochul signed the Clean Slate Act which will help remove barriers to success for individuals coming home from jail or prison in New York and clear a path for them to reach their full potential. As the founder of THREESIXTY, a program at Rikers Island, I bear witness to the incredible challenges people coming out of incarceration face, especially finding a job or securing a stable place to live. Those challenges can go on for decades, making it nearly impossible for formerly incarcerated people to improve their lives. It’s emotional to think about how many black and brown lives will be changed by this legislation. This is for us! Thank you Governor Hochul for giving me the opportunity to say a few words and stand up on behalf of so many people who will benefit from the Clean Slate Act. I still can’t believe I was a part of such a pivotal moment. 🥺❤️🙏🏽

Nicki Minaj is snapping necks and cashing checks after dropping a new image promoting her latest album, Pink Friday 2, set for release on December 8, 2023, by Young Money Entertainment and Republic Records. One fan praised, “may god bless the dinosaur that died to make the fossil fuel that was treated to become petrol in the car that took your mom to the hospital to give birth to you Nicki Minaj.” However, another person felt the picture felt more like a commercial ad, “It’s giving Eau de parfum “Pink Friday” exclusively sold at Macy’s.” Man, everyone’s a critic.

Drake name-drops Taylor Swift on his new track “Red Button”: “Taylor Swift the only ***** that I ever rated / Only one could make me drop the album just a little later.” One X user tweeted, “i know it’s not a diss but why does drake always feel the need to name-drop females or even bring up females every time he releases an album.” With another contending the reason Drizzy mentioned Taylor is his way of complimenting her artistry, “I mean, if you actually listen to the lyrics you’d know it was a woman he mentioned because he doesn’t care about anyone else. Taylor Swift the only musician in the game that can compete with him for a spot. Very high praise he gave her. Why you bringing gender into it. Weird.” The original poster stood ten toes down on her remark and said, “you can tell these n–as crying in my mentions listen to drake ’cause why are y’all so in your feelings about what i said as if it’s not true? i already said i know it’s not a diss. anyway, compliment or not, drake always mentions females whenever he drops an album. goodbye.” Webbies, do you think Drake uses the names of the hottest ladies in the game to gain clout and traction for his projects?

Diddy spoke about indulging in toad venom as a psychedelic on Jimmy Kimmel Live! When Jimmy talked about the experience of a mutual acquaintance named Eric, who met God, Diddy said he did not have that experience. News broke recently of Diddy’s former lover Cassie, real name Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, who filed a federal lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records label owner accusing Sean Combs of rape and abuse during their 10-year relationship. Lawd (deep sigh), Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Brother Love, Puffy, we implore you to humble yourself and rekindle your relationship with the Almighty despite the outcome. This story is developing…
