Keke Palmer Admits ‘My Life is Unraveling’ Amid Domestic Violence Case with Ex

*Keke Palmer is sharing her personal struggles amid the domestic violence case and custody battle with her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson.

The actress and mother of one recently posted a photo on Instagram showing her cuddling with her baby son, Leodis, along with a somber caption. 

“When reality tv makes everyone believe all celebrities’ lives are just one big marketing strategy and scheme but my life is truly unraveling at the seams and I just wear trauma like a dolce gabana coat because Sharon didn’t raise no b—-,” she wrote across the video.

Several of Palmer’s fans and celebrity pals commented on the post, with singer SZA writing, “… she’s an icon,” adding, “we praying and riding for you regardless !!”

Teyana Taylor added, “… add a good good purseeeee to make the garments pop cause you in ya bagggggggggg sis!!!”

We reported earlier that Palmer and Jackson requested a postponement of their domestic violence court date.

Palmer was granted a temporary restraining order against her baby daddy in November after accusing him of physical abuse. The “Nope” star also received sole custody of their nine-month-old child. The actress submitted evidence allegedly showing Jackson abusing her as part of a restraining order against him.

Palmer claims her ex has been abusive throughout their two-year relationship, according to US WeeklyShe filed for a domestic violence restraining order in Los Angeles and included security footage screenshots allegedly showing Jackson hitting her over a sofa.

According to recently filed court documents, Palmer and Jackson requested rescheduling their Dec. 5 court appearance to attend mediation, Complex reports. Per the outlet, the move would “allow the parties time to attend mediation. The parties request that the Mediation and Petitioner’s DVRO be continued to a mutually agreeable date,” the filing states. 

Palmer and Jackson agreed that the temporary restraining order “shall remain in full force and effect.”
