*Fans of Serena Williams are concerned after the tennis champ revealed she is “not ok” in a recent social media post.

In a Nov. 28 X/Twitter post, Williams, 42, wrote, “I am not ok today. And that’s ok to not be ok. No one is ok every single day. If you are not ok today I’m with you. There’s always tomorrow. Love you.”

In the comments, one person responded, “I hope you feel better lady. You’re absolutely right. It’s ok not to be okay sometimes, and to acknowledge it. But, here’s the thing. Put on some feel good music and do the running man throughout the house. It just might lift your spirit”.

Another X user added, “Millions need and needed to hear this. God bless you and yours.”

A third fan wrote, “This spoke to me. Thank you for these energy giving words. I have prayed for you, you will be okay! I will be okay also.”

Clinical therapist Dr. Dionne Mahaffey commented, “Thank you for being open about your feelings. Your honesty is appreciated. Remember to practice self-compassion and reach out to loved ones when you need support. Together, we can get through the challenging moments. Sending you virtual hugs and encouragement.”

Williams’ candid message was shared the same day she posted a picture of her cuddling with her 3-month-old baby girl, Adira River, on X.

The athlete previously opened up about her mental health, according to ABC News

“I did this years ago, before even mental health was a topic among everyone’s mind. It was more just like, ‘Alright, I’m shutting myself down today.’ Just subconsciously, it was something I’ve always done,” Williams explained to Selena Gomez for Gomez’s mental health platform Wondermind, Face2Face Africa reports.

“It’s so important to just put yourself first, especially mentally. I always have shutdown moments. I have serious boundaries and I don’t let anyone cross those boundaries,” Williams added.

Williams is married to tech mogul Alexis Ohanian and they share two daughters. Fans believe Williams is suffering from postpartum depression after the recent birth of her baby.
