Amber Rose put her paws on Joseline Hernandez, who shot some accusations towards the rapper and former model, saying that Amber has a problem with being Black. Unable to take the disrespect, Amber calmly strolled toward Joseline and served a whopper that even Burger King couldn’t sell. But here’s the real issue: Black people have a deep seeded fascination with demanding biracial men, women, and children who don’t check the affirmative action box labeled Black. Amber Rose, Mariah Carey, Meghan Markle, Jennifer Beals, Hasley, singer Martin Gore, Wentworth Miller, Pete Wentz, both of R. Donahue Peebles’ children and all of Alfonso Riberio‘s youngest children are all mixed with Black and White, none of them have dark skin nor Nubian phenotypes. They all have the privilege of navigating through White spaces and generally being accepted, and therein lies the problem. Black people want biracial individuals only to acknowledge their Black side and disown their White parents to satiate the inferiority complex many hold about themselves; we want them in the gutter with the rest of us, which is funny since so many Black people exhibit anti-Black behaviors and thoughts when it comes to features, hair texture, and skin tone (rolls eyes). However, when a mixed person doesn’t comply with the bipolar demands of the Black population, then the claws come out. @mango_monroe said it best “Nah, Fr Black Ppl Be Tweakin’ Sometimes Ima Just Gone ‘Head And Say It!” If we have to respect a person’s pronouns, we can accept how a person wants to identify racially. Another point to be made is if Black people wish for biracial human beings to declare their Blackness proudly, then we can do a better job in accepting them in our community, but y’all aren’t ready for that conversation.
