“Melissa De Sousa is my b*tch”, comedian Luenell said. “She’s very funny and sexy and crass when she needs to be. Great actress.”

Luenell also revealed who her favorite male character is and why. “It’s hard to pick,” she said. “I think I like that ol’ nasty ass Terrence Howard. I have to just admit it. You know we like them bad boys.”

Also in attendance was actor J. August Richards who discussed his favorite moment from the “Best Man” film franchise.

“Of course, “Can You Stand The Rain,” come on now,” Richards said, referring back to a dance scene featuring the men of the cast in the sequel “The Best Man: Holiday,” as he hit a part of the dance routine himself. “They should do it on the red carpet right now.”

One thing for certain, “The Best Man: The Final Chapters,” has definitely created new iconic moments which Showrunner Dayna Lynne North said was the goal.

“That was certainly a goal in the series,” North said on the red carpet. “What are things we can do with the series that make new moments?”

Executive Producer Dominique Telson was on hand to dish on what she enjoyed most about working on the new television series.

“My favorite part is when you see the magic of all of them together,” Telson said. “That happens sometimes off camera but even on camera- there’s this scene when they’re calling each other on the phone and you can really see the friendship. I love that. Because everybody wants that. I want that. To see that it wasn’t just on camera, it was real, behind the scenes, that was the best part.”
