Brandy Drops Romantic Holiday Single ‘Christmas for Two’ | Listen

*GRAMMY award-winning R&B icon Brandy has released a new holiday single titled “Christmas Party for Two.”

The track appears on her first holiday album, “Christmas with Brandy,” due November 10 via Motown Records. As we reported previously, the project features classic holiday covers and original material, and marks Brandy’s first album since 2020’s critically acclaimed “B7.”

“Christmas with Brandy” includes the songs “Someday At Christmas,” originally sung by Stevie Wonder, “Jingle Bells,” “Deck the Halls,” and “Christmas Gift,” featuring vocals by Brandy’s daughter Sy’Rai.

Brandy’s new album will drop nearly a week before her Netflix film, “Best Christmas Ever,” debuts on the platform on November 16. The singer stars as Jackie, with Heather Graham portraying Charlotte, and the pair are old college friends who unexpectedly reunite for the holiday.

“Every Christmas Jackie sends a boastful holiday newsletter that makes her old college friend Charlotte feel like a lump of coal,” teases an official plot synopsis, People reports. 

“When a twist of fate lands Charlotte and her family on Jackie’s snowy doorstep just days before Christmas, she seizes the opportunity to prove her old friend’s life can’t possibly be that perfect,” the synopsis continues.

Directed by Mary Lambert, “Best. Christmas. Ever!” also includes Jason Biggs, Matt Cedeño, Wyatt Hunt, Abby Villasmil, and Madison Skye Validum. Watch the trailer below.
