*OUR ROOTS, Black History in Motion is a mini animation that has been in the making, since the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns.
There was a need to take the illustrated educational feature to another level and the lockdowns gave way to a creative direction and hence grateful for the opportunity to have a video presentation leading into this much-awaited mini animation.
OUR ROOTS journey supported and featured on EURWEB has been over ten years and will be glad to have this mini animation featured here when launched in the UK on YOUTUBE this Friday 9th December 2022.
It will be the first of more to come. OUR ROOTS remains the past, present and future in the history of history.

TAYO Fatunla is an award-winning Nigerian Comic Artist, Editorial Cartoonist, Writer and Illustrator is an artist of African diaspora. He is a graduate of the prestigious Kubert School, in New Jersey, US. and recipient of the 2018 ECBACC Pioneer Lifetime Achievement Award for his illustrated OUR ROOTS creation and series – Famous people in Black History – He participated at UNESCO’s Cartooning In Africa forum held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and the Cartooning Global Forum in Paris, France and has held a virtual OUR ROOTS cartoon workshop for SMITHSONIAN- National Museum of African Art, Washington D.C.
